1. What are cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to site owners.
“Similar technologies” includes pixel tags, web beacons, local storage, and any other mechanism that performs a comparable function.
2. Our approach
This site runs no advertising trackers, no tag manager and no social-media pixels. It sets no analytics cookies and no advertising cookies of any kind.
One cookie is set, and it belongs to the Front Desk chat widget rather than to any form of tracking. It is listed in full in the next section. We measure which pages are read in the deliberately minimal and cookieless way described under Analytics below.
If we ever add marketing or advertising technologies, we will update this Policy and ask for your consent first.
4. Analytics
To understand which pages are read, we use Umami, a privacy-friendly analytics tool. It is self-hosted at analytics.landingpad.digital, meaning it runs on our own infrastructure rather than being handed to an outside analytics company, so these figures are not shared with any third party.
Umami is cookieless. It sets no cookies, it does not follow you across other websites, and it does not build a profile of you. It records page-level information: which page was viewed, which site you arrived from, general details of your browser, operating system, device and screen size, your language, and an approximate location worked out from your IP address at the moment of your request. Your IP address itself is not stored.
5. Scripts from other domains
Two scripts on this site load from a domain other than this one. Both are servers we run ourselves, so no outside analytics, advertising or social-media company receives any data from this site.
- Umami at analytics.landingpad.digital: the cookieless analytics described above.
- Front Desk at support.landingpad.digital: our self-hosted Chatwoot server, which powers the chat widget at the bottom of every page.
Our typography is served from this site itself, not from a third-party font service. If we add further embeds (for example, a video player or a calendar booking tool), we will list them here.
6. Manage your preferences
There are no analytics or advertising preferences to set here. Our analytics are cookieless and store nothing that identifies you, so there is nothing in them to opt out of. The only cookie this site sets is the Front Desk chat cookie described in section 3.
Browser controls
You can manage site data through your browser. Most browsers let you refuse cookies, clear stored site data, or notify you when a cookie is set. Clearing this site’s data will reset your quiz progress and any Front Desk conversation you have open.
7. Do Not Track
Some browsers support a “Do Not Track” signal. Our analytics are cookieless and build no profile of you, so there is no cross-site tracking on this site for that signal to switch off.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookies Policy as we add or remove tools. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. We will not begin setting cookies, or change how we measure page views, without updating this Policy first.
